Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Project Lead to join our team at Calian Advanced Technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior project manager to oversee and lead complex cyber security projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective process development strategies, training programs, and templates to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to procurement and equipment acquisition staff on cyber security considerations for land platform technologies.
  • Design and deliver workshops on cyber security concepts and best practices to various stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present briefings on cyber security concepts and best practices to high-level stakeholders.
  • Analyze and present findings on complex industry cyber security risk management issues.
  • Conduct research and prepare reports on cyber security risk management.
  • Identify and develop sensitive cyber considerations to enhance department operations.
  • Provide advisory support on document reviews and briefing materials.
  • Develop program documents for project phases.
  • Maintain and update program management plans and schedules.
  • Document corporate submission requirements.
  • Prepare and present program status reports to senior leadership.
  • Offer ongoing project management advice and mentoring.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Applied Science.
  • At least 48 months of experience as a Cyber Security Advisor implementing Land Cyber Security Risk Management processes.
  • 48 months of experience in senior project management managing Land Cyber Materiel Assurance Projects.
  • 48 months of experience as a Project Director or Project Manager within the Department of National Defence or a Canadian Federal Department or Agency.
  • 24 months of experience collaborating with Cyber Mission Assurance Stakeholders.
  • 48 months of experience developing briefs and presentations to Governance bodies.
  • A Secret - Level II clearance with the Government of Canada.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
