About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Construction Bid Manager to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in developing and managing cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that our company remains competitive in the market.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account various factors such as material costs, labor expenses, and equipment rentals.
  2. Liaise with subcontractors and trades to gather information and negotiate prices.
  3. Collaborate with the project management team to develop comprehensive bids that meet client requirements and stay within budget.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Civil Engineering or other Construction Management program.
  • Significant experience in estimating provincial and municipal asphalt projects.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong analytical abilities.
  • A professional attitude, punctuality, and a high level of sound and independent judgment.
