Job Title: Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at WOK BOX MOOSEJAW. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards with food and supplies.
  • Assist with serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Help with taking orders and handling customer transactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate is a plus.
