About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Asahiya Japanese Restaurant Inc. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Helper at Asahiya Japanese Restaurant Inc., you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.

Language

The primary language spoken in the kitchen is English.
