Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at KIT'S KITCHEN. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, preparing and serving food, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Operate dishwashers, wash dishes, and sanitize kitchen equipment
  • Restock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas
  • Prepare and serve food, including portioning and wrapping items
  • Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and serving customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Handle and store cleaning products and supplies
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain kitchen equipment
Requirements
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
Work Environment
