Job Summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Industrial Hygiene Specialist to join our team in Calgary. As an Industrial Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Workplace Exposure Assessments: Conduct qualitative and quantitative workplace exposure assessments to identify potential health risks and hazards.
  • Develop and Implement IH Programs: Develop and implement Industrial Hygiene programs to prevent workplace illnesses and provide protection for employees from workplace industrial hygiene risks and hazards.
  • Communicate Assessment Results: Compile and communicate assessment reports to stakeholders, including management and employees.
  • Travel to Field Locations: Travel to field locations to conduct assessments and provide support to clients.
Requirements
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) Designation: Possess a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) designation.
  • Related Professional Experience: Have related professional experience in oil and gas or other industrial settings.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Have a strong working knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation in Western Canada and proficiency in computer software applications, specifically Microsoft Office.
