Job Opportunity:

Curling Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curling Instructor to join our team at the City of Brampton. As a Curling Instructor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering high-quality curling programs for participants of all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver curling lessons and programs that meet the needs of participants
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants
  • Develop and maintain relationships with participants, volunteers, and community partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in curling instruction
  • Supervise and mentor volunteers and assistants
  • Perform administrative duties, including attendance tracking and incident reporting

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of curling experience
  • Curling teaching certification from an accredited organization (e.g. NCCP, Club Coach, Competition Coach, Coaching Level 3 Technical)
  • Current Standard First Aid/CPR C certification or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire
  • High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development or Sport Certification, or ability to obtain within 2 months of hire
  • Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Permanent residency in Brampton
