Job Title: Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process blood samples and other laboratory specimens with precision and attention to detail.
  • Enter requisitions and results accurately, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a positive experience for patients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely laboratory results.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to Dynacare's mission and values.
Requirements:
  • Secondary School diploma and completion of a Laboratory Assistant training program or Medical Lab Assistance course with specialized training in phlebotomy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, at a level that enables clear communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
