Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a ready-mix truck in a safe and effective manner, adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.
  • Complete mechanical pre-checks of all equipment prior to use.
  • Deliver high-quality concrete to a wide range of customers and contractors.
  • Maintain courteous customer relations and provide excellent service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • A Class 1 or 3 license with air endorsement in good standing.
  • Proven safety record while operating heavy equipment or trucks.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of local and provincial transportation regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, hourly position that requires overtime shifts and weekend work. The successful candidate will be required to work in a high-paced environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

  • Strong arm, leg, and back fitness.
  • Ability to withstand physical demands of operating equipment.
  • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects regularly.
