We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our financial planning and reporting team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic financial and analytical support to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Director and senior staff to identify opportunities for optimal operational and financial resource allocation.
- Lead special projects, including the development and implementation of project plans and deliverables.
- Provide business support, including operations planning and budget framework development.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing expert advice and support on financial and analytical matters.
- Proactively provide customers with relevant financial and workload information to support decision-making.
- Implement best practices and operate at a strategic level to research, identify, and analyze financial and analytical information.
- Produce comprehensive, timely, and high-quality business cases, needs assessments, and reports.
- Provide developmental expertise in comprehensive, integrated, longitudinal report design and presentation of statistical, clinical, and financial data.
- Participate in quality improvement and utilization management activities, analyzing and interpreting information to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Completion of a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA) plus eight (8) years recent, related experience in financial planning, analysis, project management, and system implementation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CICA handbook, Generally Accepted Accounting principles (GAAP), and MIS Guidelines.
- General knowledge of current health care systems, issues, and trends.
- Comprehensive process management and analytical skills.
- Superior problem-solving, critical thinking, and evaluation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to supervise/lead staff.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to prepare business case proposals and present recommendations to senior management levels.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
