About the Job

Crown Flooring and Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles and other flooring materials in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Install Tiles: Measure and mark surfaces to be covered, mix and apply adhesives, and set tiles in place.
  • Cut and Fit Tiles: Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Grout and Finish: Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and Replace Tiles: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Install Tile Strips: Install tile strips to complete the installation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail.
Work Environment
  • On the Road Job: Work will be performed on various job sites.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
