About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Strategic Operations to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of organizational policies, programs, and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs effectively.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs to drive success.
  • Negotiations and Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Talent Acquisition: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate necessary authority and create optimum working conditions.
Work Conditions and Requirements

The successful candidate will work under pressure and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They will also need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal awareness and be an effective team player.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development within the Government of Canada - Central.
