Support Student Success in Niagara Catholic Schools

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to join our Student Success Initiative in Niagara Catholic secondary schools. As a Tutor in the Classroom, you will provide numeracy and literacy support to emerging learners in consultation with Student Services Staff, Classroom Teachers, Educational Resource Teachers, and/or Student Success Teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students in mathematics and literacy
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to identify student needs and develop support plans
  • Flexibility in location and scheduling to meet the needs of the school and students

Requirements:

  • University degree or currently enrolled in a university program
  • Strong understanding of secondary school mathematics and literacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
