Nutrition Director

The Nutrition Director will lead our Production Development team to deliver new, innovative, and profitable consumer products in the animal feed industry.

• Translate research findings and practical experiences into the animal feed portfolio
• Monitor feed formulations to meet quality performance and animal health standards
• Responsible for quality control, analysis, and interpretation of trial data and preparation of final reports

• Lead a team of technical experts and Product Managers to meet current and future business needs
• Ensure consistent attainment of production schedules at optimum productivity, quality, and cost levels
• Manage and develop protocols, data, and reports of all post-registration studies, as well as interactions with marketing to develop and leverage resulting data into sales
• Support the development of training, marketing, and sales materials for Trouw Nutrition products
• Provide support and expertise for poultry, swine, dairy, and beef nutrition to the marketing, technical consulting, and sales teams
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and technical support to the sales team

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 6-8 years of experience or Master's degree or equivalent experience; 4-6 years of experience
• Tertiary qualifications in Aquaculture or similar to a Master's level
• Sales experience to understand the product and its markets
• Leadership experience and people management

• $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
