Carpentry Specialist

AHS Altimate Home Solutions Inc is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a Carpentry Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
- Prepare tenders and quotations
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Scheduling and co-ordinating work on sites
- Instructing apprentices
- Estimating costs and materials
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
- Ability to work at various locations
