Job Title: House Attendant

At Executive Suites Hotel and Resort Squamish, we are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused House Attendant to join our housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service by ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our suites.
  • Clean common washrooms and guest common areas to a high standard.
  • Daily key sign-in and sign-out.
  • Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Record areas cleaned and properly tag lost and found articles.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  • Report necessary maintenance items.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly inventories.
  • Stock maids' rooms and carts.
  • Remove garbage and recycling from room attendants.
  • Support conference activities and set up cleanliness as directed.
  • Clean and maintain office areas.
  • Keep storage areas clean and organized.
  • Regular property security walk-throughs.

Physical Aspects:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shifts.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30lbs.
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Room Attendant or in a physically demanding position.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work cohesively with colleagues and unsupervised.
  • Ability to maintain quality standards and focus on guest needs.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Commitment to providing excellent service and exceeding guest expectations.

Visa Requirements:

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
