Job Summary

DTS Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Documentation: Driver logbook and trip reports.
  • Physical Demands: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Training: Will train.
  • Green Job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
