About the Role

MIB Moving Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods with care, ensuring that they are properly secured and handled.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that the vehicle is safe and ready for operation.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent mechanical issues and ensure the vehicle is running efficiently.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement: Possess a valid Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Work Term: Work on a permanent basis.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Hours: Work 30 to 40 hours per week.
