About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our Business Intelligence team at Coveo, a pioneer in AI-powered search and recommendations. The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing our organization's data architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Data Solutions: Design and implement effective database solutions, including conceptual and logical models, ERDs, and DFDs, while optimizing data storage and retrieval processes.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Consistency: Ensure data quality and consistency by developing data governance policies, managing MDM strategies, implementing data stewardship programs, conducting audits, and maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Manage Data Security and Integrity: Manage role-based access control, define security and backup procedures, and ensure data integrity through continuous monitoring and validation.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to address data architecture needs, translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences, and offer expert recommendations.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data processes and tools.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of database structures, with hands-on experience in database management systems (DBMS), data modeling, and design. Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and proficiency in SQL and other database languages.
  • Soft Skills: Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
