About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and engaging environment, leading activities, and supporting the overall care of the children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, ensuring the health, security, and well-being of the children.
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote child development.
  • Engage children in various activities, including storytelling, songs, and crafts.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for meals and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of the children.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-6 months of experience in a related field.
  • Emergency childcare first aid and CPR certification.
