Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Machine Operator to join our team at Concept Plastics Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our plastic processing equipment, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor adjustments to equipment to maintain optimal performance
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of materials produced to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Operate mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals to specific consistency and viscosity
  • Unload mixture into containers or conveyors for further processing
  • Pack items for shipping and distribution
  • Set up and operate calender machines to transform plastic bales or slabs into continuous sheets or films of specified thickness
  • Adjust calender rollers for production line changes
  • Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compounds through nozzles or dies
  • Set up and operate moulding machines to mould plastic products
  • Organize and maintain inventory of raw materials and finished products
  • Perform trimming and sanding of plastic or fiberglass parts
Requirements
  • Accurate and reliable with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Will train and learn new skills
  • Permanent employment with 30 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
