- Job SummaryAt Scotia Auto Glass, we are seeking a skilled Auto Glass Technician to join our team. As an Auto Glass Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing windshields, windows, and sunroofs on vehicles. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Key Responsibilities
- Education and Experience: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Work Site Environment: Dusty, noisy, and odorous.
- Work Setting: Remote or mobile.
- Tasks: Professionalism in customer service, clean and maintain work space, repair or replace interior components, repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs, assist skilled tradespersons.
- Installation Specialization: Vehicle windows, windshields and sunroofs.
- Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract), criminal record check.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods.
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player.
- Screening Questions: Are you available for the advertised start date? Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location? Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?
- Experience: Experience an asset.
