About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Green Infrastructure Partners.

As a key member of our health and safety team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe execution of our projects across Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze health and safety statistics for local and regional sites.
  • Update safety metrics and maintain the Safety Incident Tracking database on a weekly basis.
  • Perform data entry to ensure quality on incident tracking systems and create reports.
  • Standardize and develop PowerPoint presentations for safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Provide administrative support to the health and safety team and communicate information to employees regarding health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Prepare detailed statistical trend analysis and develop reports and presentations.
  • Communicate on safety bulletin boards and develop other means of communication.
  • Attend, facilitate, and participate in weekly safety talks, monthly meetings, and audits.
  • Process and finalize reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in health and safety or equivalent education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in safety/environmental-related fields.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
