We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pizza Cook to join our team at Fresh Slice Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Plan and prepare menus for our pizza offerings, taking into account ingredient availability and customer preferences.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure that our kitchen and work areas are clean and sanitized at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including cooking, plating, and serving pizzas to our customers.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our kitchen staff to ensure that our pizzas are prepared and served efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift heavy objects.
- Personal Qualities: Dependability, excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
