Work with Us

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Family Ties Association. As a member of our team, you will work closely with families who are accessing services through Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) as well as Blood Tribe Social Development's Aiyiikakimaop for Children Program.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess and consult with families and support staff to develop collaborative strategies for supporting a child living with a disability.
  2. Contribute to the development, implementation and progress of a tailored service plan that meets the expectations of the funder, agency, and family.
  3. Provide individualized therapy sessions to support families in their natural environment.
  4. Coach families and support staff on the use of adaptive equipment to facilitate independence.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelors of Science Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • Active registration and practice permit (in good standing) with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, an insured/reliable vehicle, and comfort travelling in-town/out-of-town to schools, in-home or community settings is necessary.
