Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Holistic Home Care. The successful candidate will provide support to our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Carry out treatment programs, including setting up and dismantling equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies.
  • Record vital signs, plan physiotherapy programs, and document patient rehabilitation progress.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including processing claims, collecting statistics, and maintaining supplies.
  • Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • MS Office skills.
