Job Title: Security Officer - Fredericton International Airport

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at the Fredericton International Airport. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols of the airport property to ensure the safety and security of passengers, staff, and assets.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including emergency situations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to airport patrons, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other airport staff and law enforcement agencies to maintain a secure and safe environment.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in security procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Valid Transport Canada Clearance required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical fitness to perform interior and exterior rounds of the airport property, including stairs, in all types of environmental conditions.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
