The Opportunity

We are currently accepting applications for Casual Part-time labourers in our hatchery production working various departments when and where needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working full rotation in the separator area
  • Egg room duties as assigned
  • Chick room duties as assigned
  • Sanitation
  • Inovo Transfer
  • Other Duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Punctual and reliable. Able to be at work when required.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Able to stand and walk throughout the shift.
  • Ability to interact and share information with Team Members at all levels.
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to working as part of a team
  • Able to work varying & flexible hours until job is complete
  • Must be able to work in a wet/humid environment
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be in good physical condition - able to lift up to 50 lbs. overhead repetitively
  • Must be able to use ladders and clean at heights
  • Must be able to follow SOP's & schedules
  • Must adhere to PCP requirements
  • Must adhere to Animal Welfare Practices
  • Ability to be called in on short notice.
