Home Hardware is hiring a **Production Coordinator **to join our Distribution Team. You will partner with the Shift Manager for sole responsibility of shift performance of Inbound and Outbound Production. Analyze and foresee potential obstacles and devise proactive strategies working with the Shift Manager to mitigate risks through labor management and behavior. Key to the shift, balancing and prioritizing is an important part of a daily routine along with record keeping. PC’s communicate within departments of the facility, while also considering the requirements of outside parties such as our Dealers and Drivers. You are responsible as a PC for Labor Planning, managing, and organizing the workforce in a warehouse, specifically targeting tasks such as picking and packing and replenishment. Full End to End service within the Distribution Centre.

**Shift available**:
Day Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm

**Ready to make an impact? Here’s how**:

- Set daily building goals for each work area/zone based on resources, headcount, and priorities.
- Check the building wide call-in line and disseminate the information to the departmental leads.
- Create building wide communications of shift goals for Supervisors/Leads, share daily shift targets with all key stakeholders.
- Ensure needed equipment is available for each department - RF/MC devices, VoCollect units, Power equipment etc.
- Responsible for movement of resources including leaders by area/zone, coordination of training of staff requirements in Manhattan Warehousing System.
- Monitor hourly building performance, be pro-active, and react promptly to achieve daily shift goals.
- Provide an end of shift summary of work completed in all work areas and outstanding work by area.
- Report to management: targets, results and key highlights of shift and issues for future consideration.
- Use predictive headcount data to forecast weekly throughputs, use line up sheets/ headcount/ vacation planning/etc. Overtime recommendations based one predicted volume vs capabilities. Maintain tracking of targets vs actuals.
- Partner with Inbound & Outbound Managers for building capacities.

**We’re looking for**:

- Mid-Level leadership experience, 5yrs + in a distribution-based environment.
- Ability to communicate confidently internally and externally.
- Logistics professional, PLOG would be considered an asset.
- Competent on MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Analytics, KPI dashboard and distribution environment experience considered an asset.
- Managing and organizing the workforce in a distribution warehouse setting.
- SAP/Oracle based functions through Manhattan Warehousing System considered an asset.
- Highly organized and methodical keen sense to detail.
- Able to use initiative to drive results.
- Execute effective change management skills.
