Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team in the St. Thomas and Elgin County area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nutrition care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client nutrition needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Evaluate and assess swallowing disorders, utilizing a systematic approach to decision making
  • Build relationships with clients in their own environment, utilizing effective communication skills
  • Manage time and workload effectively, ensuring secure and accurate documentation
  • Work collaboratively with a dynamic and cross-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of recognition and appreciation
Requirements:
  • Degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences or equivalent
  • Current active registration in good standing as a dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Experience working with the elderly, including tube feeding and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
  • Prior experience with swallowing assessments
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable vehicle
