Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain various types of pipes in city, urban, and road building environments.
  • Work in shored trenches and ensure safe and efficient installation processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Participate in training and mentoring programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the growth and advancement of the company by sharing expertise and best practices.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience working with various pipe types and construction tools.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Certifications such as first aid, confined space, utility locating, and rigging are an asset.
  • Ability to work with qualified apprentices and teach the trade.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Safety knowledge and experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience with basic power and construction tools.
  • Valid BC driver's license (not required but preferred).
  • First aid certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors.
  • Effective communication skills in English.

Compensation

$24.00-$39.00 per hour.
