Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Director to join our Retail Banking team at BMO. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing financial and investment planning advice to deliver solutions in the best interests of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial and investment planning advice to customers to deliver solutions in their best interests.
- Determine client needs and provide solutions through the sales of managed products and services.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to acquire new business and grow existing relationships.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create integrated business development strategies.
- Proactively engage with new and existing customers and prospects to grow loyalty and identify immediate/future opportunities.

- Ensure the execution of relationship management activities to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Resolves or escalates issues to meet customer expectations in a timely manner.
- Make recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives based on an in-depth understanding of the business/group.
- Act as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.
Requirements
- Typically between 7-10 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must meet the regulatory/governing body licensing and registration requirements of a Financial Planner in the province or territory of employment.
- Expert business development experience with a successful track record.
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.

What We Offer
BMO offers a competitive salary range of $79,800.00 - $148,200.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
