The Role


We're seeking an energetic and charismatic Brewery Host and Storyteller to join our team. As a key ambassador of our brand, you'll be responsible for bringing the story of Alexander Keith to life in a captivating and engaging way.



About the Job


As a Brewery Host and Storyteller, you'll work closely with our talented team to create an exceptional experience for our guests. Your goal will be to enthusiastically share the story of Alexander Keith's passion for brewing great beer, while personifying the sociable spirit of Nova Scotia Good Times.



Responsibilities



  • You'll be confident in interacting, presenting, speaking, and captivating large crowds of people in a captivating manner.
  • You'll have musical ability, including singing and/or playing an instrument (ask for more information).
  • You'll be able to work shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • You'll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You'll be a TEAM player.
  • You'll be at ease working in an environment where beer is being served.
  • You'll be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • You'll be of legal drinking age (19+) in the province of Nova Scotia.
  • You'll be fluent in English.
  • A background in tourism, the service and hospitality industry, and/or theatre is an asset.


What We Offer


We offer a competitive salary of $17.50 per hour, as well as a contract (casual) position with 25-30 hours of work per week. Weekend and holiday availability are required.
