About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Assembler to join our team at Everest Furniture Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and preparing wooden furniture and fixtures to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and prepare wooden furniture and fixtures, including making minor adjustments and repairs.
  • Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Reinforce assembled furniture and fixtures with dowels or other supports to ensure stability.
  • Install hardware on furniture and fixtures to complete the assembly process.
  • Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.
Work Environment

Our production facility is a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. As a Furniture Assembler, you will work in a team environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in woodworking or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, and dusty environment.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role.
