Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
- Assemble components of wooden or metal furniture and fixtures into subassemblies and final products.
- Apply finishing techniques such as toners, highlights, glazes, or shaders to achieve the desired aesthetic.
- Reinforce assembled items using dowels or other support mechanisms.
- Utilize lacquers or sealers to protect and enhance furniture surfaces.
- Install necessary hardware on furniture and fixtures.
- Conduct inspections of subassemblies and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform cleaning, polishing, and waxing of furniture to maintain its appearance.
- Prepare metal surfaces by sanding and applying paint or other finishes.
- Remove old finishes from wooden surfaces as needed.
- Repair minor damages to furniture and make adjustments for optimal functionality.
- Must be bondable.
- Engage in repetitive tasks that require physical stamina.
- Work in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail.
- A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- This is a permanent position.
- Work hours are set at 40 hours per week.
