Responsibilities- Administer medications and conduct specimen collection
- Ensure infection control and monitor nutritional intake
- Prepare patients for surgery and take vital signs
- Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
- Provide nursing services and monitor patients' progress
- Acute care nursing Certificate
- Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
- Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
- CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
You will work in a fast-paced environment, with a large caseload and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You must be able to stand for extended periods and have manual dexterity and attention to detail.
