At Staff on Call, we are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in Ladysmith, British Columbia. Our facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents, and we believe that the right nurse can make all the difference.

About the Job

This is a casual position with a competitive hourly rate of $45.00 per hour. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to a contract of 3-6 months, although shorter term contracts may be discussed. As a senior care nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of residents, providing personalized care and support to meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet residents' needs
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Supervise care staff to ensure high-quality care is delivered
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Prior experience working with seniors is an asset
