About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced hairstylist to join our team at RE Hair & Co. As a hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, and styling hair according to their preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Book appointments and manage client schedules
  • Cut and trim hair using various techniques and tools
  • Shampoo and condition hair to ensure optimal health and appearance
  • Provide hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, to enhance client's hair
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair
  • Apply hair extensions to add volume, length, or color to client's hair
  • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces to ensure they look their best
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair to achieve the desired look
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties, such as answering phones and handling client inquiries
Requirements
  • Hairstylist Trade Certification
  • Experience working in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy equipment
Working Conditions
  • Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
  • Staff accommodation available
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Work Language: English
