Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hair Stylist to join our team at RE Hair & Co. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair care and styling, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in a hairstyling environment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a vibrant barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio setting, with staff accommodation available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage appointment bookings efficiently.
  • Execute hair cutting and trimming based on client specifications.
  • Provide shampooing and various hair treatments, including waving, straightening, and tinting.
  • Conduct scalp conditioning massages.
  • Apply hair color, including bleach, tints, and dyes for desired effects.
  • Install hair extensions as needed.
  • Maintain and style wigs and hairpieces.
  • Perform a variety of hair styling techniques such as curling, waving, and perming.
  • Advise clients on suitable hairstyles that complement their features.
  • Handle receptionist duties as required.
Certifications

Possession of a Hairstylist Trade Certification is essential.

Technical Skills
  • Hair Styling Techniques: Proficient in blow drying, curling, and relaxing.
  • Hair Coloring Techniques: Skilled in bleaching, dyeing, and highlighting.
Safety and Compliance

A criminal record check is mandatory for this position.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week, with English as the primary working language.
