Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate heating and cooling loads to determine the required sheet metal products
  • Design and manufacture duct systems, water evacuation systems, and other sheet metal components
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal
  • Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment
  • Estimate costs and materials for sheet metal products
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts to ensure a secure and watertight seal
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
  • Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification
  • Canadian Welding Bureau Certification
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Sheet Metal Worker Red Seal Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Forklift Operator Certification
