Goudreau Personnel by Swinton Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services for our manufacturing clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Purchase equipment, materials, and supplies to meet the requirements of our manufacturing clients
- Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
- Negotiate offers from suppliers and award contracts to appropriate parties
- Monitor progress of delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients and suppliers
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Strong knowledge of MS Word, SAP, and MS Excel
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
