Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Goudreau Personnel by Swinton Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services for our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Purchase equipment, materials, and supplies to meet the requirements of our manufacturing establishment
- Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
- Negotiate offers from suppliers and award contracts to appropriate parties
- Monitor progress of delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients and suppliers
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Strong knowledge of MS Word, SAP, and MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks is essential.
