About the Role

We are seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our team as a heavy vehicle repair and maintenance professional. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of equipment, troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, and performing routine preventive maintenance inspections.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and best practices.
  • Diagnose and repair various systems including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronics, and engines using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained regularly and in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

  1. Repair all UPS package cars and equipment, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  2. Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  3. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques, enhancing your skills and knowledge as a heavy duty mechanic.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • The ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs, working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record, essential for operating company vehicles and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles, applying your expertise to diagnose and repair complex issues.
