Software Development Engineer (iOS), Transporter Experience

Come work on the latest delivery features for Amazon customers and Delivery Associates. Our mission is to provide a unified, efficient delivery and pickup experience. We strive to eliminate variances and complexities associated with on-road pickup and attended deliveries, creating a seamless experience for customers and transporters.

The team you'd be joining provides transporters with knowledge, contextual help, and experience that enables gains in productivity, quality, engagement, and compliance to local regulations.

Are you interested in developing cutting-edge technology that helps Amazon deliver packages efficiently and quickly? The Amazon Flex mobile team focuses on providing smart and efficient mobile solutions that scale to delivering millions of packages every month.

Amazon Flex is the system that works with crowd-sourced and third-party delivery partners to complete all of Amazon's deliveries. Our Amazon Flex application works in concert with our advanced logistics systems and technology. These technologies allow delivery partners to onboard, schedule delivery times in advance or on demand, and be guided through their deliveries with in-app mapping, navigation, and more.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Be part of a customer-obsessed company and work on the design, development, test, and deployment of products that make it possible to deliver packages to customers in two hours or less all over the world.
  • Conceptualize, design, build, test, and own software systems.
  • Influence the technical direction of the team, working with many different technologies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

2+ years of Apple platform development experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
