About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Equipment Rental Specialist to support telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment.

This is an inside sales role responsible for understanding customer equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders. The role also requires strong administrative skills and a professional attitude to deliver customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customers with rentals of construction/industrial equipment
  • Negotiate and place orders
  • Develop strong relationships with customers
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Work effectively in a team environment

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment
  • Previous equipment rental industry experience
  • Knowledge about parts and equipment
  • Strong customer service & telephone skills
  • Solid computer and administrative skills

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
