Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy household manager to join our family as a live-in caregiver.

About the Job

This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment, where you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of our children.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
  • Dishipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Supervise and care for children.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
  • Cook.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, patience, and flexibility. You should have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Fluency in English or French is required.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will thrive in a non-smoking, urban area environment. The work setting is at the employer's home, and remote work is not an option.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
