Firoze Shaik Accountant & Tax Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Simply Accounting
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Certifications such as CPA or CMA
