About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to support new and ongoing project growth in our Building Operations team at Pomerleau Construction.

As an Estimator, you will work closely with our proposals team and various client groups to secure bids and ensure project success. Your trade-driven expertise and knowledge will be crucial in challenging industry standards and driving project growth.

  • Contribute to the bid process cycle, analyzing project-specific prices for labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Accurately interpret technical specifications with a keen eye for detail, ensuring precise contract specifications and pricing.
  • Maintain a focus on client pricing requirements for project feasibility, cultivating relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients.
  • Explore innovative solutions and opportunities within the parameters of the project.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals, leveraging your expertise in quantity take-offs and critical research skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 to 5 years of relevant estimating experience in the construction industry.
  • A University Degree, College Diploma, or certificate in Engineering or Construction Management, or a combination of education and industry experience.
  • A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.
  • Experience building relationships with industry and project stakeholders.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the bid process cycle.
