Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AutoCAD Designer to join our team. As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and shop drawings for seismic restraint measures, expansion-compensation measures, and vibration/isolation products. You will work closely with our customers to review installation and provide support to our Ontario offices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop detailed CAD drawings and models for various projects.
  2. Meet with customers on construction sites to review installation and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  3. Provide technical support and guidance to our Ontario offices on seismic restraint, expansion-compensation, and vibration/isolation matters.
  4. Stay up-to-date with current and future building codes and regulations related to seismic restraint, isolation, and expansion-compensation.
  5. Participate in industry associations to network and promote the HTS brand.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering (other disciplines may be considered).
  2. Working towards obtaining P.Eng. designation.
  3. Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task.
  4. Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
  5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  6. Bilingualism (French-English) is an asset.
