About the Role

Lepine Apartments is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the architectural design process for new buildings, utilizing technical expertise and design tools to ensure efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Contribution: Contribute to the architectural design of new buildings, leveraging technical knowledge and design tools such as REVIT and AutoCAD.
  • Drawing Preparation: Prepare drawings primarily in REVIT and occasionally in AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Design Issue Prevention: Identify and proactively prevent design issues, providing viable solutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with architects and other consultants as required throughout the design process.
  • Construction Team Support: Work in tandem with the construction team to address design questions and issues promptly during project execution.
  • Communication: Communicate design concerns effectively and consistently, facilitating seamless coordination among project stakeholders.
  • Shop Drawing Review: Review shop drawings to verify compliance with design intent and project requirements.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on new products and technologies relevant to architectural design and construction operations.
  • Investigation and Research: Conduct investigations into new product options to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Technical diploma in architecture or a related field.
  • Design Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT design tools is essential.
  • Building Codes and Regulations: Solid understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in design documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Language Skills: Strong command of written and spoken English; French language skills are advantageous.
